Palm Springs Trip:  pg 1 RHV-PSP leg | pg 2 on ground in Palm Springs | pg 3 PSP-RHV leg

Mom and Dad met us on the ground at Atlantic Aviation on the Palm Springs airport and drove us into town where we walked the main drag shops and had lunch at a great Mexican restaurant in downtown.  Nice, sunny, and warm so Mom and Dad's spoiled little "toy" dog enjoyed a nice ride in her fancy stroller where she actually sat very nicely even while we ate!

Kellie had to have a picture of the "Oooh la la" store, although we didn't actually go in that store:

Back at the airport, it's time to get the RV ready to go for departure:

Kellie and I just before the flight back to San Jose:

This pair of Marine Corp F-18s landed and taxi'd up at Atlantic just as we arrived back at the airport for our flight home.  They didn't stay long as the pilots were back in the jets getting ready to go again by the time we were ready to taxi for departure:

Kellie and Mom waiting by my little personal fighter before we climbed in and started up.  Kellie prefers the little folding stool she's sitting on (4 lbs and folds flat, bought from Aircraft Spruce web site) over using the installed step to get up onto the wing.  I think mostly because I had to remove the passenger step before painting to get it weld repaired and if it cracks again she doesn't want to be accused of being the cause....and no I didn't accuse her of cracking it the first time around!
