The RV-6A fuselage structure construction has many stages, progressing from the skeleton and initial skinning being done with the fuselage built upside down in the jig, to the big step of removing the fuselage from the jig and "flipping" it over into the "canoe" stage, to build up of the aft deck tail support area, build up of the skeleton and skinning of top structure, and finally construction of the interior and systems. Showing these phases took a bunch of pages but I tried to map specific areas out on this fuselage "home" page to help find pictures of specific structure/stages. Many of the fuselage construction were taken before we owned a digital camera (because they didn't exist or were so new most people couldn't afford them), so some of the photos are scanned in copies of old film pictures. Thus the quality isn't great in the earlier photos. Links to pages are below, or clicking on any thumbnail should take you to that picture and page. I'm still working on posting the photos and putting in commentary, so the fuselage area of the web site is a very rough work in progress at this point....check back later if what you're looking for isn't posted yet.
