This page shows some pictures of the Vetterman's exhaust pipe suspension system installed on my RV-6A.  The nose gear assembly on the engine mount for the -6A complicates the cross-over support in this area compared to installing the same thing on a RV-6.  I couldn't get that horizontal piece to run straight across without being VERY close to the pipe the nose gear leg is bolted into.  You can see that in these photos.  I'll put something between the rubber hose and the gear leg before flying and then see how it looks after a few flying hours.  Might have to make some adjustments during flight testing:
