Carrier based Navy E-2 "Hawkeye" radar plane was on static display and in honor of my old Navy buddy, "Hak", from my boot camp, Electrician's Mate "A"-school, and enlisted Nuclear Power School days, I had to get a couple pictures of me and Justin with the "Hawkeye".  Rest of that story is that Hak and I both went on to become commissioned officers in the Navy and while I went back to the nuclear power Navy, Hak is now an experienced (not old...) Naval Flight Officer with many hours spent in these planes over the years.  So Hak, here's to let you know I have at least been close to one of these airplanes:

 

 

 

Part of the airshow each day consisted of many fly-bys by warbirds of all types.  Here are some shots of some of the warbird jets as they taxi for those flights:
