Not much to say about most of the pictures on this page other than there sure is a whole lot of nothing in Wyoming!! We were still pretty much following the I-80 path, or at least relatively close to I-80. The airports and cities in WY are few and far between.
The closer we got to Rawlins, WY the more clouds we saw. This area was still pretty much scattered clouds but later pages will show the increasingly solid layer we eventually had to get under to finish the leg into Rawlins:
I forget which city this was (Rock Springs, WY or maybe Fort Bridger, WY?), but there wasn't much civilization visible in this part of the country so Justin took a picture:
Approaching closer to Rawlins but still a good 60 or 70 nm out we started to see a fairly solid cloud layer ahead that at first we climbed over the top of, continuing east at 11,500' msl:
