Early wing construction photos here. Lived in run down 50+ year old military housing with no garage so the wings were built in a spare bedroom, carefully selected so that I could actually get the wings out of the room and house when they were done. Had to build a stand alone jig and remove the closet doors (spar extended into closet) to make it work but turned out fine. First wing had to be hung on the wall in the living room to make room for building the second wing.
Here's Justin, checking out the progress:
Used threaded rod with a combination of nuts and plastic tube with tie wraps on both sides of each leading edge rib to properly position them for drilling to the skins. Current kits come with pre-punched wing skins and ribs so the jig and welded rod are not needed anymore, but I built this before that technology was available:
