This photo shows the wiring under the pilot side seat pan.  This is prior to final cleaning up/tying of the wires so final assembly looks  a little neater than this.  The terminal strip takes the power from the nav lights switch at the panel and feed the wires going to the nav lights in each wingtip:

 

Here's a photo of the same area after cleaning up the wire installation a little bit.  The spring seen here is part of the simple aileron trim system in the Van's design:
