Kellie bought me a really cool blue LED light strip from SteinAir for Christmas 2009 that I installed for additional panel lighting. It just taped into place on the bottom of the panel dash overhang. Easily hooked into my existing panel dimmer, very low current draw, and lights up the panel nicely. The pictures aren't real good due to using a cheap, old camera, but here's an idea of what it looks like:
